True North has purchased a small ship to use in
the Spring of 2007. The ship will carry
supplies and equipment from the U.S. to
Central America. Each healthcare team will
live on the ship while providing free clinics on
shore. This increases our mobility and
flexibility.

The vessel provides safe water and a clean, safe
environment for sleeping. Each year as we
expand our time "in county", we will be
able to move to different areas and therefore treat
the isolated villages and remote areas in the
countries.
Have you had any experience onboard a sailing
vessel? There will be opportunities
to help handle the vessel and learn some sailing and
anchoring techniques.
